About the Speaker: Dr. Rachel Schwartzman

Dr. Rachel Schwartzman, ND graduated from CCNM in 2005 and has maintained a general family practice since then. She has a special interest in women’s health, hormonal health, menopause, fertility, pregnancy, birth support, pediatrics, digestive health, skin conditions and mood disorders. She has been a naturopathic doula for over 20 years, having attended over 400 births. She deeply believes naturopathic modalities, including herbal medicine, acupuncture and homeopathy have huge positive effects on birth. She has spoken at several birth conferences on naturopathic doula care, and her ultimate goal is for people to have a positive and powerful birth experience.
